I decided to redo the process on a mini book, only because each time I make a book I want to make it smaller and smaller. So small that the universe has to fold in on itself for anything to make sense.

Now I make the smaller books with only paper, no fabric and very little glue.

Ask if you have questions, otherwise I didn't feel like writing out each step.

This takes about 10 minutes.

Excellent.
I had 2 itty bitty books [about 1.5" square] that I've lost.
The quality was really amazing.

Thanks.

Send me links if you make any that small :D
And yes, I've had the problem of losing the smaller ones too...

:aww: Oh wow. I didn't think you can make a book almost the same size as a penny. People can make a mini versions of anything. This is a very nice craft you made. And cute. It's also cute. This tutorial will be helpful once I get the materials and try it out myself. Except mine's would be an inch bigger at least. I might accidently crush it with my giant fingers. :giggle:

What kind of paper did you use? I can see it's not some regular paper that tears up easily. And if you use some coating to protect it from wear and tear, what is it? It looks like something I would use as a keychain.

Thank you! Good luck with yours, I'd love to see how it turns out.
I have an indepth tutorial that explains everything in detail (you can apply the same ideas just on a much smaller scale if you want) here.

The only thing I use to protect the edges is some no sew glue, but if it's a paper cover I don't bother with anything. If you find some scrap leather you can make some really adorable leather journals. Like these.

Leave the pages blank.
Create a title, such as....

*All the things I learned ---
about women
in school

*People that think you're funny
